Thanks so much! Can't wait for your 3 list. My little boy will be 2.5 at Christmas and we are getting him a play kitchen. I think we are just going to go with Melissa and Doug, I want a wood one but really just don't want to shell out more than around 100 for it. I've been collecting felt food off etsy for the past year too.
ReplyDeleteI have a question, on all your building block type things, do you find there really is an advantage to getting more than one type of set. I just tend to thing in my mind as, a block is a block is a block, so I just wonder if you find your kids are really learning/enjoying (enjoying is the priority really) from the different types, even though like I said my brain tends to just bark at me (in an old man voice) "They're all the same!"
Our children incorporate different style blocks in their play - so we think having different styles is a good thing - and most of our sets are pretty different from the next.
