Sticky Window

A fun activity using natural light.

Place a large piece of contact paper on the window using tape - sticky side out.  Gather various recycled materials, string, feathers, etc.  Let the child attempt to apply anything to the paper.  Its a great way to learn about gravity, textures, and new words like translucent.

We have revisited this activity since our first experience in June of 2011....

  1. I would like ask how you manage all the chaos! how long would you keep something like that up on the wall? I love it all but we are so limited in space and anything like that would have to be in our living room. Also, when you do clear it away, do you recover the things that have been stuck to the contact?
