Fizzy Sidewalk Paint

A container of baking soda
1/2 cup of cornstarch
Warm (almost hot) Water
Food coloring
Vinegar

Mix the dry ingredients and then add water stirring until its not too thick.  Not sure how much water we used.... maybe a little over a cup.  If you want, you can separate it into different bowls or a muffin tin and dye it different colors.  You can use a paint brush... or do what my kids did and just use hands.  After they are done making their creations you spray the paint with a bottle of vinegar and watch the fizz appear.  The girls enjoyed putting their feet in it while I sprayed.  :-)  RL

  1. I can't wait to try this. My hubby wants to know if it stains the sidewalk. :)

  2. From OUR experience, it does NOT stain the sidewalk. In any event, nothing is permanent when you factor in weather and time.
